The following statutory changes shall be applicable for Afghan Transit Trade movement from 03-10-2023, as given in the attached SROs by FBR:
1. Examination of Afghan Commercial transit cargo shall be 10% of the total under RMS.
2. Scanning of Afghan Commercial transit cargo shall be 25% of the total under RMS.
3. List of banned items has been increased to a large extent. Now all PCT Headings of banned items shall be inserted in the system.
4. Selected items subjected to 10% transit processing fee under section 18D of the Customs Act, 1969 shall also be inserted in the system.
